Sorry I’m months behinds due to “stuff”. We wanted to visit Canberra and have acquaintances that live there or near there. What I’d love to do is spend a year traveling around AU. Probably with a caravan. I’m not sure that will happen in any form now but I keep positive about the possibility.

No. Sydney has a beauty too. I prefer nature but for a city Sydney has parts that have history and beautiful areas as well

I wish we had visited Melbourne when in AU. Lots of Sydney, outlying areas, Blue Mountains & Brisband (which I loved) but sadly not Melbourne. Hopefully will make one more trip back to Oz.

people think the renaming is a minor petty thing, but it's more than that. it's the first attempt at normalizing American expansionism. it makes Americans numb to the next renaming, and to the next one after that. then when the physical aggression against other countries start, people shrug.
