Indeed. If democratic accountability in Canada functioned properly there'd be 60% more critical attention on our shitty provincial governments and 60% less on the feds.
many of the problems both provinces face are a result of the actions of the provincial governments ... conveniently blamed on the federal govt. Separation would not be an improvement.

We've had 4 days with our two 30-something kids. What a gift, they even stayed a day longer. It gave us time for emotional rest, deep conversation & a break from the pressures they face, something we haven't had as a 4some in a very long time. They leave today, & instead of sad, I feel so grateful.❤️

I am so done with the outdoor Christmas light scam. Bought two new strands last year, perfectly functioning when I put them away. Neither of them work this year. Yes, I've changed the fuse, no I'm not going bulb-by-bulb. It's 2025, and they were lit for less than a month, 5 hrs/day.
