The Conservatives' budgetary demands include fiction.
There are no "hidden taxes" on food. The industrial carbon price doesn't apply to agriculture. There is no "food packaging tax," and plastic regulations largely exempt food packaging. The clean fuel standard "17¢" was one scenario over time. 1/2

As a bonafide bandwagoner, I quickly understood the heart of this team. And Canada did too. I saw things I never thought possible in a baseball game, from both teams. What an incredible experience for me. Our most famous editorial cartoonist pretty much sums it up:

Can anyone think of any commercial or industrial properties that have sold in Peterborough in the last year or two? Not properties that have been put up for sale, but ones that we know did indeed sell. Need to find some examples for an analysis I'd like to do.

Don't fall for this kind of shit.
I think of the Syrian families who built the north with passion, hard work.
If your relative spreads hate shit tell them to knock it off.

In this editorial, the @ptboexaminer.bsky.social cites a lot of reasons why we're back to "normal", but fails to mention the elephant in the room. Michelle Ferreri, and her ludicrous, constant spate of hate and division, is no longer our MP, for 6 months now. That's had some impact.

This essay will knock your socks off. It will take you exactly what the author addresses in a post-literate civilization: time, thought, absorption, reflection.
In the eighteenth century the rise of literacy precipitated the greatest transfer of knowledge into the hands of ordinary men and women in history and helped to destroy the old feudal order in Europe.
As literacy recedes a neo-feudal future looms.

Federal Conservatives are bellyaching about the lack of housing starts. In Ontario, look to the Provincial Conservatives for the shrinking sector problems! Oh, and a bit of a grift going on. Shocker.
PC housing failure is also a jobs-killer, but criticism is muted.
