Somehow, this does not give me confidence. But I do appreciate a) the Mayor writing and b) the Minister's quick response. Developers have eyes on that land.

A few days later, the vote. The only time Marc has cried, outside of sports and the birth of his children, was the evening 3 days later, when the results came in on TV. As a Quebecer, it hit differently for him than it did for me, from BC/Ontario. /5

We made our way into the throng shown here, positioning ourselves just outside of the Canada flag, which was absolutely massive. We stayed as long as we could. /4

We disembarked from the train where construction was going on, corralled thru a narrow passageway with workers high up on an unfinished building. As we emerged, they started spitting on us & hurling insults. I remember Marc, horrified, putting a protective arm around the kids & I to usher us thru /3

We were living in Ste. Anne's, taking the train in from the West Island. A silent commute, train packed to the rafters, solemn, until someone began singing O Canada. It eventually spread to the rest of the train - a very quiet rendition, as if we were already mourning a loss. I was teary. /2

Chief Betts & Michelle have agendas, his is about getting ridiculously high budget increases approved, she for shock content for her paid gigs, using each other to further their own cause, like when she had him as a "witness" at the Status of Women Committee. Why is Chief Betts contacting Michelle?

They weren't even released into our community! Again, Ferreri makes up her own story, perhaps the press release was too long. And if our Provincial courts (who handle these charges) are so backlogged, prisons too full, she should complain to her MPP.
