“Everyone who I’ve talked to . . . about how they’re feeling did not approve or think that this bill should be passed,” Craig said, arguing Sawhney’s support for the bill showed she was “following party lines and not representing constituents.”
“To me that was completely trampling over democracy in any right,” Craig said. “To see her stand up and vote for it . . . I know that this is not in the best interest of the constituents in this riding.”
