Federal transport minister is confident the Port of Vancouver can serve as Canada's gateway to Asia despite recent labour disruptions. Feds intend to expand port to its fullest capacity. Canada must double non US trade with Asia Pacific. Vanc is key to that.

In an updated fed-prov agreement, the Gov't of Canada will allocate $113M/4 yrs to support French language teaching in B.C. schools—nearly double the previous amount. Access to French education is foundational to our cultural & economic sovereignty.

In today’s MOU the Province of Alberta makes clear commitments on climate action. Alberta promises to work toward net zero GHGs by 2050, strengthen their industrial carbon pricing system, advance carbon capture/utilization/storage, and cut methane emissions.
