Even before the country they fought for recognized them as full citizens, many Asian immigrants served Canada with bravery and loyalty. Gordon Quan, who passed away last month, was the last surviving Chinese-Canadian WWII veteran, hundreds of whom raised their hands to serve. #LestWeForget

On Remembrance Day, we honour Japanese-Canadians who fought for Canada: at Vimy Ridge in 1917, and again in WWII and the Korean War — even after 21,000 Japanese Canadians were unjustly interned under the War Measures Act. #LestWeForget

Following examples of best practice is the way to get things done effectively and efficiently. Seems City of Toronto has done this with housing. Waiving developers' taxes & fees, using city land when available and combining below market and market values in one project. #Bravo
