Why have Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Peter Mandelson been punished over the Epstein files, but not Trump?

Today I learned that stalking a 17 year old girl, writing up a 400 page 'dossier' about her, falsely reporting her to the police and smashing her phone does not constitute 'harassment'.

One wonders what *would*.

I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

You've likely heard/seen some of this stuff, but to see it laid out, terror after terror, is overwhelming.

On one hand, it's not a crime for him to enjoy adult content that is consensual and made by adults. But also, some of the smartest progressive voices online are also sex workers! I wouldn't be surprised if he truly was just following them for their political writing!
Axios tried to bust James Talarico for following adult content creators on Instagram and I'm genuinely impressed by his campaign's response

Swinney's insistence that only an SNP majority (rather than a pro-indy majority) gives Scotland the right to a referendum is extremely irritating and his latest stuff about "if we get an SNP majority we get a referendum because precedent" is extremely fucking stupid

I say this with the bluntness it requires: they will get people murdered if this continues. This is not just populism anymore either: it’s completely unhinged and a deliberate choice that does endanger lives. I am not saying this lightly at all.

On the day it happens, and it will, the executive power provisions within the Communications Act of 1934 and the National Emergencies Act of 1976 will allow him to kill switch the US internet. He will. Plan for that now, because it includes your US-based cloud storage and hosted SAAS applications.
It seems clear—I think to everyone, now—that a false and illegal invocation of the Insurrection Act is coming before the end of the year. Media outlets should be telling us how they will prepare for this potential Treason. State governments should be telling us. Activists should be developing plans.

So, the Israelis abducted British nationals in international waters, which is, uh, piracy, and then tortured them, which is a crime against humanity.

So that is a casus belli, is what that is.

Like, this country should actually be discussing war at this point!
An Israeli prison guard deliberately slammed a metal door on the already broken leg of a 70-year-old Scottish woman who was abducted from the flotilla.

Torture.
