US security guarantees under Trump will have zero value. None.

Trump lies constantly & has a decades-long record of breaching contracts. He says he respects no laws beyond his personal ‘morality.’

Ukraine must not cede a single inch to US-RU pressure & Europe must back them up.

After being held in two of them as a boy, I fought for decades urging America to never again build concentration camps and put human beings in them. It breaks my heart to watch this happen twice now in my own lifetime.

Big moment for Europe: in December, fully electric cars outsold petrol-only cars in the EU for the first time.

This shows that clear, consistent policy works. Which is exactly why backtracking now would be a mistake. Rolling back targets or creating uncertainty would slow investment and innovation.

Wow... Sepp Blatter is less financially and morally corrupt than Infantino.

What does that tell you about FIFA?

This!
I loathe this kind of "reporting". The way this is supposed to happen, Reuters, is you hear the claim from Trump's toadie, then you ask Carney if it's true, and THEN you have a story to report. #pathetic

Great piece by @hurwitz.bsky.social on data centre PR ->

Data centers are facing an image problem. The tech industry is spending millions to rebrand them.
Through television ads and online campaigns, industry-backed groups are promising jobs, clean energy, and lower electricity bills.

Pretty wild that the former FIFA president is saying it's too dangerous to travel to the U.S. while the mayor of LA is insisting that the whole wide world is welcome

Naming someone is not doxxing. They aren’t undercover. They aren’t intelligence agents overseas. This is outrageous - we are supposed to be a free Republic and these people want an authoritarian police state. Lawsuits should be filed & ranking Dems in Congress should act.

The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.

The typical police officer in Europe doesn't even carry a gun.

Those are only for special units or operations.
Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara: "People have had enough. This is the third shooting in less than 3 weeks. The MPD went the entire year last year recovering about 900 guns from the street, arresting hundreds of violent offenders, and we didn't shoot anyone ... this is not sustainable."
