It remains crazy to me that the people who are ostensibly the stewards of the whole sport of college football, tasked with shepherding it through perhaps the most transformational period in the sport’s history, have no idea what makes it special.
The Big Ten is, indeed, in the *very* early stages of discussing the idea of a 28-team College Football Playoff model, source confirms to NBC Sports (as ESPN reported).
Would eliminate conference championship games & have most spots designated per league.

This really is Penn State & Ohio State's fault when you think about
The biggest punishment for Michigan ultimately was the Big Ten suspending Harbaugh before the biggest games of the season, a pretty big deal!
Had Penn State or Ohio State won, the feelings are likely different. But they lost.

Ultimately, Michigan did not get a postseason ban because the NCAA is trying not to punish active players for violations committed by former coaches anymore.

It seems from the clips I keep seeing that Mason Graham is right there keeping Will Johnson company on what has to be a rough night for Will (and was not at all a rough night for Mason Graham) and I think that’s really sweet.
