This cat litter is great. And also—this is weird, I know—but they should make gelato or cookies that taste like it smells. Maybe they do...coconut-vanilla or something?

Next year I plan on finally reading a number of things I ought to have read long ago. Among them a few Melville works, including MOBY-DICK. Am I even "a reader" if I haven't read that? Better late than never, I suppose.

Earlier today I was listening to one of the hosts from Here and Now repeatedly ask a resident from Southeast Chicago whether throwing rocks at ICE was justified. And finally she just said, "They invaded our community. They have machine guns."
