Now that this has reached its intended recipient, I can share it.
Willie Nelson was our dad’s favorite and it amused me greatly to make this for my brother.

We are at an airport restaurant. A robot just drove up to us with our food, said, "Hi! Here I am!" and then drove away with our food.

One time Stevie Wonder was in the suite next to our office and my coworkers saw him in the elevator and I missed it! Later I was complaining that I didn’t see Stevie Wonder and someone said “if it’s any consolation, he didn’t see you either.”
Stevie Wonder said …

“I see Us in the park”

HOW???

Today fb reminded me of this this gem of a reading log entry from my kid in 2nd grade:

"Where's Waldo: This book is all about finding a guy."

This is so true.
One time I sold an old white dude a cigar at my bar. It was like 6 bucks (real fancy). He reached in his pocket and pulled out an enormous wad of hundreds, peeled off one, and then took back ALL his change.
i’m seeing some discourse on blacksky and I can confidently say what any ex service person would: rich rich ppl are the worst tippers
The racists made up the "don't tip" thing so they can pre-rationalize giving Black ppl bad service.

We went to the African American history museum today for a FUN FAMILY ACTIVITY DAMMIT. My first time there & it’s so great. I gotta go back bc I only made it from 1787 to 1865 & even then I didn’t manage to read everything.
Current metro detour around Crystal city makes for a looooong trip downtown.

Who's the most famous alum of your high school?

US-famous is probably a tie between Olympic bobsledder Mike Kohn and the guy who invented Napster.

ACTUAL famous is undoubtedly K-pop singer/actor Yoochun.
Who's the most famous alum of your high school?

Comedian Wanda Sykes, UMSNT Midfielder Kyle Beckerman

Also Edward Snowden (though he dropped out so idk if that counts as an alum?)
Who's the most famous alum of your high school?

Before My Time: Bit-part character actor Jason Kravitz

While I Was There: Internet-famous and Netflix Special comedian Sarah Cooper

After Graduation: I'm going with Gold Medal-Winning Wrestler Helen Maroulis.

There is so much lingering Axe body spray in the house this morning, I probably should have opened a window before turning the stove burner on.

THIS FUCKING GUY
A few months ago he said the dog died of a preexisting heart condition and it wasn’t the groomer’s fault. Now the story is that he knew the guy abused the dog, kept him on staff anyway, and chalked it up to a Valuable Life Lesson? FUCK THAT.
