one of the things i truly believe is that a significant portion of this country is in the grip of a death cult
"The vaccination has stuff we don't trust," said the father of the 6-year-old girl who died from measles at the end of last month. Tom Bartlett visited with a family confronting an unthinkable tragedy:

80s techno thriller but with a modern Republican Party. “Sir, through a highly technical series of events involving Basque separatists, one of our own nuclear weapons has been detonated in Atlanta Georgia! Millions are dead and the damage is catastrophic! The country needs leadership!” 1/2

Telling the most unhinged, resentful and above all, heavily armed portion of the US population to go F themselves is certainly a bold strategy. Let’s see how it plays out for him.

Arguably the second worst mistake made by the government was including the caveat “unless convicted of a crime” in the 13th amendment. The biggest mistake was of course not hanging every single southern leader, slave owner and sympathizer for treason.
No state has a longer, more profit-driven history of contracting prisoners out to private companies than Alabama. With a sprawling labor system that dates back more than 150 years — it has constructed a template for the commercialization of mass incarceration.

Democrats should spend the next 4 years sponsoring bills that would help people afford to have and raise children, and name every single one like it’s a GOP birth rate obsessed fever dream. Make the GOP vote against the “Preserving American Families” act because it would provide low cost childcare.

If the government shuts down Saturday, the richest man in the world will be largely to blame.

You may not get access to services you depend on just before the holidays because an unelected billionaire shadow president wanted it that way.

If this isn’t oligarchy, I don’t know what is.

Writers: yes, you are still a "real" writer if you
- have never published anything
- have no readers
- didn't write anything this month
- didn't write anything this year
- can't articulate words anymore
- can only float and mournfully wail
- were murdered ten years ago on this very spot

I need to see Dana Bash, Kaitlin Collins, or Jake Tapper interview an "Undecided Voter in Rural Pennsylvania" regarding this Biden Pardon situation before I can make up my mind about it.

Also, does anyone know if Bristol Palin has weighed in yet?
