Baloney. Just look at what happened when Massachusetts raised taxes on the rich.

The 50 wealthiest families in the UK own more than 34 million people combined.

That level of inequality is totally unsustainable.

A wealth tax isn’t radical - it’s inevitable. And the Green Party will keep making the case.

Rusted on right wing bigots only have one tune.

Only the ALP have ever made major changes to benefit all Australians. Medicare & PBS to name two.
Both of which LNP try to wreck every chance they get.

We all know a few folk we text that must send the last message in every SMS exchange. Impossible to end an exchange, they’ll always reply.

I realise that you may well be that person amongst your friends. In which case, on behalf of everyone you’ve ever texted, fuck you.

Front page Epstein files story today reveals Steve Bannon told Clive Palmer to spend $60mil on anti-China and anti-climate change ads for the 2019 election.
D’ya think this could be why we want our media to ask “who’s behind this & who does it serve?” rather than just reporting “pollie said this”?!

New iOS phone has done away with favourites button that had the handful of numbers 99%of my calls were to. So quick and easy.

Man, I was sick to death of that convenience.
Now have to scroll thru a quagmire of contacts looking for them.
About time it was tedious!

New planet just dropped and it

1) is almost exactly Earth-sized

2) has a year that's almost exactly 1 Earth year.

3) orbits a star that is not a 💢temperamental little shit M-dwarf 💢but is instead a 🧡 good orange boi 🧡

One of the best parts of iOS 26.2 is the new UI that requires multiple taps and sub menus to do the same common functions that could be done with only one tap on a flat UI.

All that spare time & effort I once had, now put to good use doing common mundane functions all the time!

Kinda disappointing the “suggested for you” accounts are topics I wouldn’t follow in a million years.

How ever they are chosen couldn’t more wrong about what interests me.

Stupid Uber UI/UX.

Wrongly told QANTAS at T2, so chose that as destination. Then chose QANTAS as airline, Uber then sends that to driver as Jetstar T2.

I have NFI what terminal but absolute certainty what airline I booked.

Naturally, Uber ignores certainty and makes the NFI its truth. Stupid AF!

Star Trek Academy starts with terrible disappointment that the Federation still uses the same injustice system the USA has today.

No enlightenment, no progress over many centuries. An obvious plot device to setup the series story arc. Much less American culture focus would be much more appealing.
