This is a response to a post I made about a white man who was arrested yesterday with guns and ammo, planning to attack multiple synagogues across the US South.
Personally, I think it is bad that a growing portion of the left now dismisses actual antisemitism as just being pro-Israel propaganda.

“Increased antisemitism threat” is a propaganda media play.Israel has ramped this up over decades. ADL and AIPAC are onboard. That’s why they loosened the definition and blowout the concerns on campuses. Plenty of reason to be skeptical. False flags are way too common. If he’s charged, we’ll know

When I was young I was really concerned about environmental change, the impact of pollution, and nuclear proliferation. I was honestly expecting that by now we would be living in a Mad-Max hellscape. All these things are probably still as dangerous and real today, but it doesn’t feel like it.

Honestly I’m starting to think that growing up amongst a combination of music people and petty criminals may have left me a bit cynical, but I’m still honestly astonished at the level of self delusion some people are capable of.

My feeling on how people may receive Silent Hill f is that queer kids (and former queer kids) and J-horror fans will like it but people who were pissed off Harvey Dent had the other side of his face burned in that one show will hate it.

Thinking a lot about context and story while playing through Silent Hill f. There’s something satisfying about being lost in a place and having to draw a new map every once in a while. But what you carry to the next iteration has more to do with you than the story.

Finding today harder than yesterday. As so many British Jews have said, the attack wasn't a surprise.
But the instant protests, plus the stream of "takes" explaining why Israel is actually to blame and it's fine to target a Synagogue if it has "Zionist" ties... That's harder.
