Yesterday, Solano County's public servants — represented by SEIU 1021, IFPTE 21, and IUOE 39 — took to the Board of Supervisors. Their message was loud and clear.

Because of Solano County's irresponsible, bad-faith bargaining, a recruitment and retention crisis now endangers the public.

Today we were at Airbnb HQ in SF with labor & community groups to launch #boycottairbnb. They are suing the City of SF for $120M, threatening cuts to public services, even as the take much-needed housing off the rental market. boycott-airbnb.org (link in bio!) and take the pledge to book elsewhere!

Novato City Council needs to respect democracy! They promised Measure M money for parks, police, & potholes. Instead, they've refused to show us where the money is going. We must hold them accountable.

BREAKING: Judge blocks President Trump’s unconstitutional campaign to radically restructure and dismantle the federal government.

This ruling is one of many that prove Elon Musk, DOGE, and even the president himself are not above the rule of law and the will of the American people.

Workers in strong union states made nearly $173 MORE PER WEEK in 2024—regardless of whether they were in a union.

UNIONS RAISE WAGES FOR ALL WORKERS. THAT'S WHY CEOS DON'T LIKE THEM.

I spent the last two days in negotiations towards a first contract with @seiu1021.bsky.social (3 TAs!). There’s so much bad news, but staying close to the workers in the fight for labor and health care justice keeps me in optimism of the will.

Congress is recklessly rushing to cut $2.3 trillion from Medicaid. This will have serious consequences. Children and seniors will lose the care they need – and costs will go up for all of us. Call your member at 866-426-2631 and tell them to STOP massive cuts to our health care.

THIS is why we organize. THIS is why we have unions.

Victory for California workers! Fast-food workers are set to receive a $20 minimum wage, thanks to the relentless efforts of unions and advocates who fought tirelessly for this historic change. This isn't just about fast food; it's a reminder that unions should be for everyone across all industries.
