There are artifacts on some of their stuff, and they're most likely tracing midjourney. These two pieces were posted a single year apart and they're just using the midjourney default for this year. It sucks ass but you need to be diligent about AI scammers nowadays.

In @thatmetroidguy.bsky.social 's discord, I found a chart scaling various Metroid Prime characters as they appear in the game. While Dark Samus and Samus are the same height in cutscenes, in real gameplay Dark Samus is HUGE and I had to draw that.
A remix of the "how to talk to short people" meme, Samus Aran and Dark Samus are facing off to display their size difference. In panel 1, they are standing at a distance, cannons ready. In panel 2, they have grappled, aiming their weapons at each other while maintaining eye contact through their visors.
