Something that has really helped with my artistic journey is being able to differentiate what draws me to certain styles. Do I like it because it’s cool or do I like this style because I wanna draw like that? Knowing the difference really helped me pinpoint what I need to do to improve.
Share your knowledge if/when you can. Teaching other people how to do what you do doesn’t lessen your art - it just means more and better art for everyone.
I appreciate when people are willing to tell me about their brushes, how they study, etc… I want to put that back out into the world.

I love that in most Metroid introductions they go Samus was assigned this very important mission because she was nearby. Girl must be so tired being called on just cuz of proximity.
