This is overt racism. Full stop. There’s no ‘misinterpretation’ and no excuse. This is who he is, who he’s always been, and why he should never be anywhere near power again. And there’s a reason the tapes from The Apprentice have never been released.

No joke: I got angry hate mail today for writing an obituary of a Black woman scientist—because the person felt she did didn’t deserve the recognition.

Which just makes me want to share it again: www.nature.com/articles/d41...
Gladys Mae West obituary: mathematician who pioneered GPS technology
She made key contributions to US cold-war science despite facing huge barriers as a Black woman.

Here’s what we’ve got from last night:

1. There were several instances where order was called. We understand the frustration, but we’d challenge you to turn that frustration into action. Join any one of the volunteer committees in town.

Oops we missed article 14. This article has to do with a TIF or tax increment financing agreement between the darling development corporation and the town. This allows for taxes to be reduced allowing a business to build a customer base, before the full tax amount kicks in.

Ok-now on to 2nd chances… the first article is 17. The authorization to sell the former firefly golf course. Town meeting authorized the purchase of this property for $6.9M in the fall of last year, financing it against the operating budget

The plots being authorized for sale as part of article 17 are shown below: Plot 78 outlined in blue, Plots 100/101 in yellow. Plot 96 was only purchased as “portions” so it is cannot accurately be depicted here.

Moving on to the juicy property changes-the first is article 15. This article would allow the select board to sell the old town hall property. At this time we’re not aware of a buyer for this property.
Based on the draft 10/15 meeting minutes from the select board

Article 24 deals with the updates to our town bylaws. It includes provisions to hold homeowner associations accountable for maintenance of their assets.
November 6, 2025 at 1:13 PM
Articles 18-23 have to do with taking private roads with new developments under town control. It means the town will now be responsible for all actions on the road (plowing, maintenance, etc.).

When it comes to property changes this meeting has a lot of them; articles 13, 15, 16, 18-24.
Article 13 is part of the process started by article 12 in the spring of 2024 (passed 108/37/0).
