Going into a hospital in the UK puts you at high risk of getting an airborne infection like Covid. I know because it happened to me and my family. I have long Covid. Please sign and share this petition. It would mean a lot🥰https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/700304

Do you feel like the only one who still wears a mask at home in 2025 when people are still sick? Well guess what? You're in good company - thank you, Christina Applegate!

Note the mask in the photo is a ffp3 respirator Not an FRSM (surgical) as we are seeing on the front on some press in the UK.

This isn’t fearmongering — it’s reality. Hospital-acquired COVID can delay care or cost you your health — even your life.

Infection control measures — masks, ventilation, testing, and staff/patient protections — should be standard care in every healthcare setting.

Long COVID is here to stay, even in children, and worsened by reinfections and ongoing transmission. Governments and health systems must prioritise research, care access, and protection for kids—otherwise, the long-term social and economic costs will keep rising.

Mild COVID doesn’t exist imo. Nothing is mild that carries serious post infection risks e.g. heart problems, chronic lung problems, pulmonary embolism, immune damage, autoimmune disease, Diabetes, mental health conditions. There is a mountain of studies showing the risks for so many health problems

If you think vaccination alone is enough to protect you from long Covid please note, this is NOT the advice from @WHO. There is a failure by our governments to inform on layered mitigations.

Oh boy does this one irk me. No, in fact I didn't choose not to be able to safely enter public spaces for 6 years. I've just adapted to the reality that COVID is airborne, and follow the science 🧬

‘It was known from day one’ that Covid was airborne. Imagine if instead of them telling us to get in a bubble and take off masks in shared indoor space 🤦‍♀️, they had spent that time being useful and rolling out Hepa air purifiers & informing on good ventilation & giving medical staff the correct PPE.

Today is the 2-yr anniversary of my sole Covid infection that led to a bunch of scary symptoms. I'm incredibly thankful (and lucky) not to have been reinfected. But with 2 kids, it's taken re-engineering my whole living space - and yes, often masking in my own home.

Covid levels have been low for a while, yet a 'low' week still means 71 deaths across the UK: equivalent to double-decker bus full of potentially preventable deaths.

We need to do better!

‘More like polio’ this article is on point and we have millions with long covid. A dismal vaccine offering, no advice on masking for an airborne virus with serious post infection risks and no lasting immunity, which is why Taiwan are offering 4 vaccines a year!
