This💯 I feel like I did grieving the loss of my parents. For example, feeling guilt when I found a brief moment of joy on Christmas Day, & then realizing I had forgotten to be sad for that moment. It’s the same now. I often feel guilty when I allow myself to pretend we are not losing our Democracy!
One thing I'm quite proud of this year is that I'm still angry about politics. I always half-wondered if my political anger was just because I was having a shit time of things in my personal and financial life and exteriorising that.
