@swearyanthony.bsky.social I feel like you will enjoy this one
EXCLUSIVE: One Saturday afternoon in October, my phone lit up with a notification.

I glanced down at the message.

“Anna, Lindsey Halligan here,” it began.

So began my text exchange with the woman who is prosecuting the president's perceived political enemies.

@redrabbleroz.bsky.social Not sure if you had a read yet but I would suggest you have a look at this AFR piece www.afr.com/politics/fed...
‘It shows you everything that’s wrong with the Liberal party’
The battle for the seat of Bradfield is a snapshot of how the Liberals are on a campaign to irrelevance.

I was just looking through the most recent AAO order www.legislation.gov.au/C2025Q00003/...

One thing I found slightly amusing is the way the "Removal of Prisoners (Territories) Act 1923" is handled.

For that act if it relates to anything on heard island (Penguins), McDonald Islands or 1/3

@aptronym.bsky.social I love this entry in one of the recent Flat Head Valley Police Blotters

"12:24 p.m. An adult obeyed a child’s demand to call 911. There was no emergency, it turned out."

Strength to all trans women today. The bigots are out in force, but always remember their hate says everything about them not you. Trans women are women, and a bigot is always a bigot.

"Dutton calls on Dan Andrews to campaign with PM after secret ‘debate help’ claims
PM refused to comment on reports Daniel Andrews was helping him prepare (for Sky debate). "

Coming into this series there was the feeling that the opening position wasn't settled for Australia. At the end I don't see that it has been any more settled. The middle order I think has been stiffened with the addition of Webster. One thing I feel like that hasn't been covered yet 1/2 #AusvInd

There seems to be a lot of movement in the senate at the moment, Gallagher is sitting with Hanson Young in the current division, Penny Wong is in the chamber on the division (rather unheard of and Birmingham isn't), I've seen Wong holding some piece of paper maybe another hours motion?
