Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

I really recommend @foldedorset.bsky.social if you’re after an indie bookshop with beautiful things in stock as well. Super easy to shop online with them too!

TW: it was literally a nice white boy at primary school who sat opposite me who was the first to SA me. This is racist dogwhistle bullshit

Currently playing ‘is it side effects from the flu jab or was I too late and it’s flu’ with symptoms 😬

I watched The Family Stone by accident (*sobs in Withnail*) and it is awful. Little plot. Awful characters. Terrible message.

We had one of those moments yesterday, one of those short interludes that made the entire preceding 12 months of struggle worth it. All the kids were together with their grandma under one roof. I can’t tell you how impossible this was, how unreachable a goal. Utter bliss.
