Yes, protesting genocide, injustice and inhumanity is very Australian.

But it seems our craven and complicit political and media establishment would prefer we behaved in a manner approved by the Israeli regime.
What am I missing?

I thought protesting a person who represents a state committing a genocide on a race of people - where upwards of 70,000 have been deliberately murdered - and many more maimed - is one of the most Australian things you could do.
