The US is a rogue state. Time for the UK to reevaluate their relationship with the US.

Walking away and aligning clearly and unapologetically with Europe is the only way we can progress.

Keir Starmer did everything he could to be US poodle and his strategy has ended in total humiliation. Both him and Farage are puppets of a hostile foreign nation.

It's obvious that if someone is a bully - you don't just keep appeasing them.

Disastrous strategy by Labour.

So much for her “Judge me on what I do”.

Well, Dr Stephenson, don’t worry, we will.
And if we have to take you to court, we’ll do that as well.

We must resist legalised transphobia.

There are 134 prisoners in the women's prison estate in Scotland within Index Offence Group 1 which includes the most serious non-sexual crimes including murder.

Douglas Ross today names 3 of them in Parliament. All 3 are trans.

IMO a Group 1 offender is dangerous irrespective of gender.

So we now have 2 Tory parties in the UK.

One is full of right wingers who call themselves Reform.

The other is full of right wingers who call themselves Conservatives.

The two are parties filled with failed politicians who care only for their only political careers.

This is Renee Good.

She was a mother of a six-year-old child.

She was an American citizen.

She described herself as a “poet and writer and wife and mom and shitty guitar strummer from Colorado.”

And she was gunned down in cold blood and broad daylight by Trump’s ICE agents.

Occupying and extortion is not a way any President should conduct foreign affairs.

This is colonialism with the sole purpose of extracting oil and increasing profits for US corporations.

Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.

Maduro is a brutal and oppressive dictator of Venezuela.

Trump has no legitimate legal basis for military action against Venezuela under United States or international law.

Both of those facts are simultaneously true.

The first "positive change" Keir Starmer should be making is granting immediate bail to these remand prisoners before he has even more blood on his hands.

I reckon 2026 could finally be the year a certain anti-trans lobby group may falter.

Beware though of what and who comes next, there are more nasty and more dangerous actors waiting in the wings. Brace yourselves.

I am always alarmed at how readily those who are anti-migrant, anti-trans and anti-diversity call people that oppose their views paedophiles.

This rhetoric is rarely called out by those in powerful positions, yet it has become so commonly used it is almost the expected retort when you dare engage.

Mary-Ann Stephenson assumes - either from ignorance or malice - that trans people have no legal rights as trans. That is deeply troubling from someone holding her role - although hardly surprising given her history.

Awful - and hopelessly out of her depth (just as two Select Committees concluded).

I have been saying for a while that Reform will surprise us in a number of areas.

With SNP down a bit and Labour/Tories collapsing reform could win more than we reckon by wafer thin margins and on very low % of vote.

Concerning and 3 big parties better start paying attention.
Whitburn and Blackburn (West Lothian) by-election 1st prefs:

Reform UK: 1177 (32%, +15.7)
SNP: 1028 (28%, -0.9)
Labour: 627 (17.1%, -13.8)
Ind (Lynch): 484 (13.2%, +1.3)
Conservative: 129 (3.5%, -3.2)
Lib Dem: 102 (2.8%, nc)
Green: 101 (2.7%, +0.2)
Ind (Millar): 27 (0.7%, new)
