Another 2-0 to the Arsenal!

Solid if unspectacular, lovely finish from Rice to put us 1-0 up after Eze should have done earlier. No mistake from Saka from the spot after Timber fouled.

West Ham offered so little, we controlled this one pretty easily.

Top of the table (for now), Interlull ahoy!

This is due to a law signed by Ronald Reagan and has nothing to do with this shutdown fight.

But consider this...

Emergency Medicaid spending in 2023 cost $3.8 billion — just 0.4% of total Medicaid spending.

Now what about the $20 billion taxpayers are giving to Argentina?

Saka takes the penalty & buries it in the corner of the net to make it Two-nil to the Arsenal 67'. #COYG #ARSWHU

H/T: 1-0 Arsenal

Dominant 45 minutes from the hosts, who deservedly lead through Declan Rice's goal against his former club. Eze and Timber have had decent chances, while Saka has had a goal ruled out for offside and Calafiori has hit the post.

The one big blow is losing Odegaard to injury, again.

Arsenal 2-0 Olympiacos

The odd nervy moment, but Arsenal worthy winners in the end. Martin Odegaard with a brilliant display in midfield. Played some great through-balls and setup Saka's goal. West Ham at home next for Arsenal on Saturday.

That's really good from Gyokeres. Absolutely crushed those two recovering defenders and unlucky not to score himself - at least Martinelli was alert to the rebound.

At St James’ Park, Arsenal delivered one of those performances that define title contenders, overturning a deficit late on to beat Newcastle United 2-1 despite another extraordinary display of officiating from PGMOL that threatened to turn the contest into farce.

Arsenal show title credentials by beating Newcastle and PGMOL
Arsenal fought back to beat Newcastle 2-1 at St James’ Park, with late goals from Merino and Gabriel overshadowing more PGMOL controversy.

I think my heartbeat is normal (ish) now.

Massive effort to come back and win that game. Merino's value for moments like that is worth acknowledging, and Big Gabi is just a colossus. Made up for that 1st half error to win it.

We've been overdue 3 points at their place, and it feels really good!

Newcastle 1-2 Arsenal

What a game. Huge second half from Arsenal and surely one of the most satisfying of Arteta's managerial career. Merino with the equaliser off the bench and then a late, late winner from Gabriel. The gap to leaders Liverpool is down to two.

We need to re-focus for 2nd half.

After the goal Newcastle dragged us into doing what they want us to do in the last 10-15 mins, rather than us doing what we were doing well.
Generally, Arsenal have played well. Forced Pope into some good saves, hit the post, and I think we should 100% have had a penalty.

Two mistakes cost us a goal. Mosquera conceding a corner he shouldn't have, and Gabriel had to be stronger, even to try and make it more difficult for Woltemade.

Such a frustrating half, Arsenal had a number of chances and forced some good saves or just missed. They should have had a penalty and that really felt like a massive turning point that knocked the team out of it's full focus, as the half has gone on it seems like the team is fighting the referee.
