Robbie Gibb was appointed to the BBC Board by Boris Johnson, was an editorial advisor for GB News, and worked as Theresa May's Director of Comms.

He is not impartial or neutral. The government should remove him from the Board immediately to protect the BBC's independence.

Having had the greatest Chicken Tikka Kebab of my life (from Kebazza Portadown) this evening, I wholeheartedly agree with this.
Thought-provoking segment on ITV News this eve re immigration and social cohesion. My takeaway is @sathnam.bsky.social's comment:

"What we've got in Britain is the most successful multicultural living in the world"

(That, and chicken tikka kebab)

If it is even half as good a Zio in Portadown then it will be a huge success. Always great food, fantastic atmosphere and all led by a superb team. Best of luck to them. ❤️

Have I learnt anything worth sharing in that time? Let's see.

Wonderful to see hostages returning home. What Hamas did was evil. 1200 killed and 251 hostages taken. So many affected who need/deserve long term support and help.

But when we see Gaza and learn 92% of all homes are destroyed, nobody will ever justify that to me. Or the support by western govts 💔

And Starmer stood up today to praise Trump. Madness!!!

The BBC's justification for platforming Farage beyond the actual significance of his small parliamentary party are his polls. A rather cynical explanation, for he wouldn't be where he is without the constant, uncritical appearances he's given on the BBC. It's a (literally) vicious circle.

I don’t recognise/understand what is happening to the UK. Genuinely though Labour under Starmer would bring sensibility to politics and the country. Their weakness and lack of backbone is enabling those who want to destroy our way of life. Heartbreaking to watch
