1) No reasonable person would equate the wood chipper hyperbole with a serious threat.
2) No serious threat just means someone being mean spirited on the internet which is at the end of the day a ineviteble result of public facing social media existing. No way Bluesky can moderate this out.
First I’m sorry that you had such tragic experiences. That’s horrific.

1) if a person on the news, such as a female journalist talks about a topic, does she deserve threats in a joking way?
2) would you believe those acceptable to receive on your account?

The pardon stuff in this administration is definitely just a criminal racket but this is just a hilarious slip up that completely invalidates their entire arguement against the autopen.

Trump is extrajudicially murdering people and has threatened to invade no less than 3 different countries in under a year. He’s invading his own cities with the military. These leaders are insane to nominate him for a peace prize.
President Donald Trump appears to have picked up another Nobel Peace Prize nomination — this time from the new Japanese prime minister, Sanae Takaichi.

Takaichi is the latest in a string of foreign leaders who have said they would nominate Trump for the award. bit.ly/4o6SnXr

Here’s hoping the ceasefire lasts longer than 5 minutes after the last hostage is released.

This is at least the second first phase “deal” this year.

SCOTUS using religious freedom to prevent regulations on professional conduct is wild. If my religion says that the only way to fix a cold is to cut out someones kidney I'm going to be able to go out and give that advice as a so called professional.

Just absolutely bananas.

Doing this joke in Saudi Arabia is pretty tone deaf but the commentary about charlie kirk was pretty accurate. This joke is a swing and a miss because of the location and audience he's playing to.
Move to Saudi Arabia if you love it so much, dude.

@hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social was already doing a bad job in his leadership role and now he puts out this statement for an actual criminal. Just embarassed to be associated with democrats at this point.
This @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social statement is delicious. Like Herr’s on a Turkish Airlines flight.

Someone primary him.
NEW: Jeffries praises Eric Adams in a statement, saying he has "served courageously and authentically for decades" and that "meaningful progress has been made" during his mayoralty.

Says he will "publicly weigh in" on the mayoral race "well before the start of early voting.”

Today feels different, in part because the narrative appears to be seeping into the markets, which have been resistant to the dour "are we in a bubble?" vibes. NVIDIA earnings end of month may bring their smiles up, but there's a lot of days of trading between now and then.

This was essentially one of the things I indicated was a possible "solution" they'd be considering. You just hold the numbers for months until you get the more validated data.

While technically accurate it allows the government to push off revealing consequences for bad decisions longer.

It's annoying watching Pete Buttigieg, Josh Shapiro, and Gavin Newsom out running the most unprincipled starts to their obvious presidential campaigns.

I know it's 3 years from now but if this is the caliber of candidate the democrats are DOA.

Looks like @harvard.edu has started their capitulation to the Trump administration. Having special services for minorites is seen as bad but having specific programs for israel is consiodered fine.

Just an embarassing educational institution.

Wait this is legal but not the Harvard Women’s Center? Not the BGLTSA spaces? Not the spaces for Black students? But they can have a fellowship that is functionally Jews only?

Katelyn gets it right in that we should be critisizing our democratic hopefuls because he's bad on so many issues. He's bad on trans rights, disability rights, he's got shit policies on the homeless, continues to write in loopholes to pro worker bills...all while podcasting with right wing lunatics.
Newsom does not represent trans peoples' interests. it's not derangement. the options right now are not newsom vs maga/trump, it's newsom vs the rest of the democratic party. we are allowed to criticize him for being a fucking asshole towards us.
love the idea that not voting for Newsom - a guy actively hostile to the trans community right now - is somehow voting against our own interests as trans people.

Vance is obviouslly trolling @jamellebouie.net here but it's important to note that J.D. intentionally misunderstands the BLM movement in how it relates to policing and society's views of Black Americans. Whatever this treaty is as it remains clear it has nothing to do with the BLM movement.
funny thing about this is i had no idea it happened until someone asked me about it on stream last night
Tagging Jamelle Bouie in these trolling posts from the literal Vice President of the United States is such scummy, racist behavior. These really are the worst people in the world. This guy isn't even trying to be a statesman; he's a gutter troll.
