The senate has approved four of this guy’s federal court appointees in the past 3 days. One of them got more than a dozen Democratic votes that weren’t even needed for confirmation.

I wrote this a while ago about criticisms on the left of the Palestine protests and I think it can also be applied to criticisms of the liberal No Kings protests. I think the category error I see the most is in expecting the protest itself to be an end and not a means

I have been crowing on about how voting can’t save us from this mess for such a long time. Maybe this will be the thing that makes it click for people. I might be way off base but I think it’s delusional for people to talk about the midterms or 28 elections as if they are going to be real.
