I feel like we’re only a few news cycles away from Trump saying “Putin mentioned the other day that we fought on the same side as Russia in WWII against those nasty Germans. That’s very interesting, isn’t it? Not many people know that. And they call *us* Nazis. Can you believe it? Stupid people.”

Agree, agree, and everyone who wants can be a party actor.

Nothing wrong with pushing party leaders, but if you're bashing Dems (or NYT headline writers!) more than you're talking about the people on an anti-Constitution crime spree, you might want to consider whether that's the best choice.
Democratic leaders deserve the criticisms they’re getting, but…
- They aren’t the criminals right now.
- The party is not its leaders.
- You are part of the party.

Really hate that we’re in this position where a relatively not terrible outcome (temporary suspension of Trump’s maniacal, destructive tariffs) means letting Trump declare a ”victory” he didn’t actually get. Which gives him more power.
Any news outlet reporting Mexico conceded anything to Trump to get him to delay tariffs has not done its homework.
Trump boasts he got Mexico to commit to stationing 10K troops at our border. Apparently he didn't realize Mexico already has 15K troops deployed there

"What? Me worry?"
Chuck Schumer is tomato-posting IRL, talking about tariffs at a Park Slope grocery store (via my source in frozen foods)

I think the extent to which election postmortems revolve around fights between libs and the left over policy, and Inside Baseball recapitulation of factional disputes over policy, is actually much more closely related to why we lost than any of the policies being disputed
