One of the things that gets lost in translation is how rhythmic & fun to read the prose of the original Journey to the West is.

I’m watching Li Han-hsiang’s The Enchanting Shadow (1960), more or less the Shaw Bros’ inspiration behind A Chinese Ghost Story, and am REALLY in love with how this is clearly where Hark and Ching Siu-tung’s Taoist rap came from 😂

There is an argument to be made how stereotypical men, by not being able to control their base instincts, vice-signalling, performative cruelty ('we're firing everyone but 10x devs!') and conformity ('we NEED to be an AI-first company!') ruined the workplace and produced nothing in the process.
I understand that headlines are meant to grab attention, but ...
This is a headline you'd expect to see in the 1970s when women were piling into the workplace and men had mustaches and sideburns, smoked in the office, and called their secretaries toots and sweetheart.

When Ishinomori does have fans its always for a work from the same genre or style like Superheroes and 5 squadrons when Ishinomori did more then just 2 and its also a shame with Digital Collection since alot of the colorized mangas in there are made to be in Black and White

My problem with Shotaro Ishinomori's works at the moment is that while he served the Guinness World Record of alot of mangas most of his other work barely has sizeable fans and these works are not promoted or showcased as much besides the Digital Collection and the museum
