It gets harder & harder to look non-white friends, family, neighbors & coworkers of ANY background in the eye & say you’re ok with proper papers, visa, passport etc in hand. ANYWHERE. A local friend & creative partner told me over the weekend how afraid he was they’d take his naturalization. 1/2
ICE ended up returning the man, Saly, after realizing he’s a fucking US citizen with no criminal record, per his sister-in-law. These fucking animals.
