It has officially happened. I have been officially let go from my position at CDC. I wasn’t a probationary employee. I had stellar performance reviews every year.

I’m always surprised and disheartened by filmmakers’ inability to imagine a better reality for ourselves. Like, you’re the dreamers, and you can’t imagine life beyond capitalism, richie rich? Or maybe it’s bc stories like that don’t appeal to the white male investor class.
