This is just the year of surgeries for me apparently. If my foot isn’t better after hip surgery I have to get surgery on my foot cause apparently my heel bone is growing and I have two bone spurs growing that could potentially rupture my Achilles tendon 🥲

So LA quietly has a tax on remote freelancers and they just so conveniently don't make it a big deal about it until way after the deadline and then they suddenly start throwing late charges at you. What the fuck.
Also it's not even during the regular tax season. It's fucking January 1st.

Well confirmed I need hip surgery blegh
So most likely finally figured out my hip pain for the last essentially 2 years that kept me from squats and deadlifts. Apparently I have a “full thickness” anterior/inferior lateral labrum tear. I googled what full thickness meant and basically it’s cut right to the bone, the cartilage is gone.

I just spent 6 hours thinking my fire alarm was busted and needed to be fully replaced annoyed at the chirping and not getting any sleep tonight only to discover the carbon monoxide detector behind my nightstand was the cause and got dust in it. I totally forgot I had one there 🥲
