Thread of my poetry.
At the end of time,

In endless gray and empty rhymes,

There is a winged rush

And in the pools of ink,

A hush.
Whatever the lying box says, TV dinners have to sit for at least 5 minutes. 👍🏻

If you find yourself thinking, "Oh, but I'm not like THOSE people," you're kinda being a dick to those people.
And yes, you are.

Content warning for effective force feeding of tiny autistic / disabled children. Short thread.
I don't know where to start.
Goodness me.

The role of re‐presentation in the treatment of liquid expulsion
Children with feeding difficulties often engage in expulsion (i.e., spitting out) of liquid. Expulsion is problematic because it limits the volume of liquid that a child will consume. Researchers hav...

“Villains!” I shrieked, “dissemble no more! I admit the deed! — tear up the planks! — here, here! — it is the beating of his hideous heart!”
I have to run the faucet to keep the pipes from freezing solid and the drip, drip, dripping is slowly driving me mad.

On the bright side, I was able to save a truly horrid self-inflicted haircut.
Never give up!

ChatGPT, for me, is an accessibility tool.
I've used it to navigate technology & bureaucracy. It's demoralizing to always ask my mother for help. Half the time, she can't help anyway.
I've used it to manage compulsions (that I'm not going to tell you about).
There's a lot of nuance you're ignoring.

I'm not doing so well.
I cry, and cry, and cry and I can't get it out of my body.

Excellent work, but instead of questioning the 3 autistic non-speakers’ communication, please instead focus on their association with antivax+ pseudoscience—& how their IACC placement smacks of tokenism. Also ICYMI Alison Singer loathes autistic self-advocates. Better to cite @autisticadvocacy.org.
