Today was my last day at the Eisenhower Library. I came across a 1964 letter Dwight Eisenhower wrote warning against “hate-filled people who set themselves up as super-patriots and, so doing, try to destroy the rights, liberties and opportunities of the average loyal American.” Worth heeding 🗃️

This is kind of important: he is saying the law allows you to be a bigot, but it doesn't require you to be.

Anyone, including the government, who chooses, say, to stop trans women using female toilets is doing so because they want to, not because they are forced to.
Former Supreme Court judge Lord Sumption explains why @bphillipsonmp.bsky.social has got it completely wrong when she says trans women must be placed in danger by using the men's toilets.

I think people are missing the reality of the growing US-Russian alliance under Putin and Trump. Its not going to force a ceasefire on Ukraine, it will be to help Russia try to win the war. The US is now an active enemy of freedom.
