I've asked the question many times before, but: let us imagine that we knew, with absolute metaphysical certainty, that Trump was a Russian asset -- FSB payroll stubs and everything. What would he be doing differently?

The answer is still: nothing.
That pee tape must be a banger.
It’s been weeks since Trump admitted that Putin lied about the made-up strikes on his residence, and he still hasn’t done anything about it.

Now Putin has broken his one-week ceasefire, and Trump is defending him.

How weak can a man be?

Because "Zelig" was a bit too background for the simile and you'd have to explain it to more people.

Kiddies who made it out of the ICE dungeon report sighting a schoolmate. Before this, the school district had no information on their whereabouts. The family has now been connected with a lawyer.

Youngsters who escape a govt dungeon are the only way to track abducted children? This is fine!
The two children who returned to MN today say they saw one of their Valley View schoolmates at a detention center in TX. This is a child whose family was last in contact with the school on January 9. No one has known where they were until now.

"Abolish ICE" is no longer a moderate position. It is the MINIMAL position. It's where one should start from. Abolish ICE, empty its concentration camps, and run each and every one of their kapos to ground.

"By the end of the two-year period, 94% of participants reported they were housed."

A million pilot programs show the same thing: when people are given enough money to afford housing, homelessness ends.

Other supports matter, but housing comes first. Not policing. Not moralizing. Homes.

No one should be surprised at pace that American democracy is unraveling. You were told by the very people who are doing this that this is what they are going to do.

One lesson from the Epstein–Mandelson affair is that we need to stop routinely rehabilitating political careers after serious scandals.

When politicians knowingly engage in grave ethical wrongdoing, that should permanently end their political careers. Being "talented" should not override that.

Well now, would you look at that? A massive, 4-YEAR-LONG study of NEARLY 30 MILLION people in France found that individuals who received a COVID-19 mRNA vaccine had a 74% LOWER risk of death from severe COVID-19 compared to unvaccinated individuals and ZERO increased risk of all-cause mortality.

In a sane world, the decision by Rufo, Vance, & co. to slander and slap a target on the traumatized, hardworking immigrants who revitalized a rust belt city -- and who *were invited* to that city -- would be a stain on their careers that they never live down.

They should be reminded of it. Often.

How far down “and then they came for” are we at this point?
A retiree wrote this email to a DHS attorney. Within five hours, DHS demanded Google turn over records for his account.

A Kafkaesque form of domestic surveillance, intimidating Americans for lawful speech.

Remember the incident where DHS claimed officers shot a guy because he attacked them with a snow shovel?

Yeah. It didn't happen. They shot him through the door of his own home. And then arrested him. And then lied about it. Again.

And they almost shot some kids in the process.
They just blindly shot through the fucking door.

If by "commonsense reform" you mean to tear it out, root and branch, then yeah.

Resign, you fraud.
Democrats want commonsense reform for ICE:

End the roving patrols and racial profiling.

Take accountability and abide by the same rules as local police.

Masks need to come off, body cameras need to stay on—no secret police in the United States of America.
