President Trump has made $4 billion by illegally trading access to the White House to get rich. He controls the Dept of Justice and the Congress so he won't be held accountable - until he doesn't control the Dept of Justice and Congress.
Trump’s Profiteering Hits $4 Billion
In August, I reported that the President and his family had made $3.4 billion by leveraging his position. After his first year back in office, the number has ballooned.

The arrests of Don Lemon and Georgia Fort underscore the gravity of this moment. This has never happened before in our history. We shouldn't pretend it's normal.

More reason for us to hold the line and demand a DHS budget that stops funding lawlessness.

This Epstein drop is HUGE and utterly disgusting. I don’t see how this man is allowed to remain in office. Where are the evangelical leaders, the soccer moms, the folks stocking up on eggs, the farmers, the small business owners.

Decide. Who are you?

Yes: we have tens of thousands of Minnesotans who are, for all intents and purposes, in hiding right now. Most are documented, many are even citizens. Doesn't matter, because ICE doesn't care. Our schools are at COVID-era levels of attendance, with no extra resources for support. Unimaginable harm.
I teach the kid acolytes at my church. One of our acolytes has been gone all month, his family afraid of the very real dangers that latino families face regardless of documentation status.

After checking on their fam, learned he isnt in basketball & switched to online school too.

In the @risenate.bsky.social, we will be moving forward with legislation to protect Rhode Islanders from ICE. Although the bills aren’t introduced yet, I want to thank Leader Ciccone for making this announcement now. It’s important that people know now that we plan to take action.

The attacks on Reps Frost and Omar show how Trump's supporters act in a world where Trump uses and excuses violence on a daily basis.

If officers face no consequences for killing a protester in cold blood, then the signal is sent: violence against Trump critics is condoned.

Right now, Democrats have the power to defund and abolish ICE. We should do it. This is about right and wrong—and the murder we are seeing on the streets is just plain wrong. Anyone who supports funding DHS and ICE is supporting the murder of Americans. We can stop this.

1. A group of pro-Trump billionaires took control of TikTok's U.S. operations.

2. TikTok appeared to begin suppressing content about ICE's activity in Minneapolis and criticism of Trump.

Sidewalks and bus stops are untouched throughout the city. Bus riders are standing in the streets. People are climbing over mountains of snow to cross the street, get to their cars, or get on the bus.

Let's talk for a second about what has to change - immediately. And why it's so important that we demand these reforms.

Driving home this evening: Most of Providence still needs plowing, including the train station (which dumped its sidewalk snow onto the street), bridges over 95 (big drifts) and all side streets

Plus, people on foot are walking in traffic because city sidewalks are mostly not cleared
Providence parking ban was lifted a day too early. Nothing is plowed properly. There are drifts in front of RI Foundation downtown, on the Broadway to Olneyville bridge, and even parts of North Main. Cars are skidding down Rochambeau.
