Everyone going to FanFest should read this. I applaud that SQUEX are trying to avoid the ADA mess of last time, but ADA folks aren't free labor.
SQUEX really should hire a disability consultant instead of giving this to random team members. A good consultant already knows the data they are asking.

"Player who does not pay attention may be confused," has been a problem forever, but our modern age makes distraction easier and high-level folks especially scared of any friction. I believe in getting information flow right, but the "please handhold more" directions I got were rough sometimes.
You wanna know why we're having nag line discourse in 2025? Because developers know we're fighting an attention economy war we'll lose no matter what. Players don't read, have TikTok open next to them, god forbid we are scared you miss something and then blame us for not giving you all the info.

Pokopia being a game key card is just wild. It's a 1st party game. Nintendo gets to decide how much their own cartridge costs. Either Pokopia is surprisingly huge and hardware intensive (wild??? I seriously doubt this???) or they want to maintain self-imposed sales margins (greed sickens me etc)

lrp it's honestly really sad what happened with webfishing dev because it truly was a lovely little social game and i had so much fun fishing and vibing with pals, but the last update was in january to announce a makeship plush and there's been radio silence since.
