Yea hard agree here. I remember when I was homeless for the first time. They wanted to force Christianity down my throat, as part of there agreement to stay there. Also yes they did have me pay for a bed as well. Which seems odd for a charity to do.
I know it's a tad early but I know those bitches with the buckets will be out soon. Don't gove them a penny. The volunteers may not know but the salvation army is no ally and actively combative and harmful to many queer minorities especially during the holiday season

As it was before and as it is now, trans women are some of the first standing up for us and fighting. They always have been! So if you say you love trans women (as I see lots of you saying) you need to take action in preventing them from being censored and de-banked. Make the calls.
If this meeting only takes a few hours out of my day and the rep takes me seriously, you guys are in trouble with how annoying I'm going to be about you doing it. We need to be strong and active like our trans elders were who aren't around to help us anymore. Do it for them.
