Just got a reasonably convincing scam call from someone purporting to be with the Durham County Sheriff's Office, alleging I missed federal jury duty and a bench warrant had been issued for my arrest

How come every damn flight is “completely full” every dsy, and asks for volunteers to check bags.
Having done that for American Airlines, being bounced around for months, and then denied compensation for a “late claim” (as soon as their people would process it… nope.)

Yesterday, he passed away after a terrible heart attack here at home. We were with him at the end. All of us our devastated by the loss of a truly remarkable man.
