We've been integrating into a new school, meeting loads of new people, getting excited about new projects, and reinventing the team (but not the wheel). Expect more changes to come, but for now we have an exciting new blog post about the value of peer review:

I went to two Accessibility events in June, both featured AI heavily. I've consolidated thoughts here.

I guess the blog post is about cutting through the hype to find the humanity and ensuring "nothing about us without us" - disabled folk need to be front and center of any solutions given to them.

Looking forward to dipping into this issue this week. Our work on digital confidence has shown it has links to wellbeing and resilience, and can support learners (students and staff) through digital transformation - we can see the links to this work on compassion and pedagogies of care!
I am delighted to be able to say that the special issue of the @jldhe.bsky.social 'Liberating Learning' has been published today!

This post explores how we talk about AI - the metaphors we use, the metaphors we choose not to use, and the way we work to emphasise user agency in everything we say about generative AI.
