We only rate dogs. This is a family of Suburban Gold Fairies. It's rare for them to travel together like this. Very magical but please only send dogs. Thank you... 13/10 for all (TT: hdbrosriley)

Our latest Honest Government out is a serious warning to Canada from Australia, which acts as a cautionary tail about the harms of the gas (LNG) export industry... Hence the cameo (spoiler alert) from our own aussie climate criminals, Woodside Energy

Looks as if the only fair way of doing this without spending an absolute fortune on revaluations is taxing occupants..... How do we think that would go?
We reported last week on the uncomfortable reality of doubling council tax on Band G and Band H homes - 80% of the revenues would come from Band G.
New analysis from Chaminda Jayanetti at PoliticsHome shows another real source of unfairness...

If anyone else is very upset by the unrelenting fireworks that seem to have become the norm, you can sign this petition.parliament.uk/petitions/73...
Petition: Limit the sale of fireworks to those running local council approved events only
Ban the sale of fireworks to the general public to minimise the harm caused to vulnerable people and animals. Defenceless animals can die from the distress caused by fireworks.
I believe that permitt...

I like Zak Polanski and the things his party stands for. I shall be very interested to see how he stands up to scrutiny when election pledges have to be made, and he's being grilled on budgets and numbers.

Just taken my dog out for his final wee. Southampton is covered in a pall of firework pollution. It's sickening and one of the reasons I won't be here next year.

The only good hoummous is the plain, classic sort. Adding extras like red peppers, olives, and other stuff just ruins it.

There's nothing wrong with using washing machine detergent. I did for years and it was fine. Also, I discovered I didn't need rinse aid or salt.
I tried finding powder detergent and ended up accidentally buying a 5kg box of *washing machine* detergent. At least it got put to good use, but, whoops.

Ok, last shout on these cheap stocking fillers. They all sound great, but I've only got so much room on my board. DM if you're interested before I have to deal with gumtree people. Diolch! x

He's not wrong. The pull of habit is strong,but..... the cost of living means most people won't be able to find and follow their calling, yet there is enough wealth in the world to support them all. Isn't that sad?

I really, really hope the target of these letter is Geoffrey Cox....
I handwrite a chatty letter to my Tory MP every Sunday morning. I never make specific demands. I just talk about how his party is disintegrating. And because it's on paper and arrives by post I know it gets read. I get replies, too. He's much less chatty than me.

Can't we please just ban fireworks?
We've been down on the beach today picking up firework debris. It's odd, isn't it, that you can be fined £250 for dropping litter but somehow it's OK to launch rockets containing plastic casings into the sky.
