What bothers me most about the administration’s response to the killing of #AlexPretti is the message it sends to other ICE agents. “Don’t worry about killing innocent people. People at the top will lie out of their fucking asses to cover for you.”

Christmas Inheritance (2017) • Three out of five stars Rich party girl from the city gets sent on a fool’s errand to a generic small town to learn the true meaning of Christmas and replace her black Republican boyfriend. The plot is predictable; the movie’s logic is not. Christmas Catch (2018) • One out of five stars The world’s most incompetent nepo baby cop falls in love with the man she’s spying on. The case is solved through Christmas magic rather than diligent police work. Hilarious from start to finish, sometimes on purpose. A Christmas Prince (2017) • Two out of five stars A powerful political figure who parties too hard in an attempt to get out of his dead father’s shadow falls in love with the journalist sent to report on him. Drink every time they remind you of RFK Jr. and Olivia Nuzzi. Hot Frosty (2024) • Three out of five stars A horny widow falls in love with a one-day-old boy, but because he looks 35, everyone just kind of goes along with it, except for the cops who try to ruin Christmas for everyone. Just self-aware enough to be enjoyable.
