Russia's main tank producing company Uralvagonzavod is planning on laying off 10% of its work force in 2026. This is likely linked more to the railway section of the company but still isn't a good look mid war if railway car demand is dropping.

A small but important update on the subject of Lynx IFVs and #Ukraine. Rheinmetall CEO Papperger announced in an interview with @loyalmagazin.bsky.social (published yesterday) that funding for production in Ukraine is still missing, and a corresponding contract has not yet been signed.

A lesson all of Europe should have learned in 2014. If we wanted to avoid the refugee crisis, we should have listened to the French and killed Assad. The age in which we passively stand by and watch conflicts happen, must end.
Welcoming Ukrainian refugees treat the consequences. But first and foremost you need to fight the cause of this situation. Which means blowing as many Russian tanks as we can

This might be hope, and it's dangerous to bet on that. But... Hungary has a huge arsenal of Soviet weapons and munitions. 300 T-72s, 400 BTR-80s, 300 D-20s, 50 2K12s, and warehouses full of shells. I hope a post-Orban government gives it all to Ukraine by summer 2026.
I don't understand why Orban and Hungary are so much more significant than every other threat, what good does Magyar do us that won't be outweighed by Weidel, Bardella and Farage?
