Probably the best Caps effort in two weeks & they have nothing to show for it. Just horrendous puck luck as when they did get it by Oettinger, they hit the goal post. At least play wise, it was encouraging given how bad they were against Ottawa on Saturday

Pretty much since the 2018 playoffs, whenever the Caps play Columbus, about halfway through the games thinking, “Ya know, I don’t think I like these guys.” It’s not a visceral hate, like with Pittsburgh, the Rangers or Carolina, more like “I don’t like you very much”

Took in today’s matinee at Cap One. Crappy first period ended up biting the Caps in the ass & their third period comeback fell short. Alas, no Ovi goal but did get this assessment from my 11 year old daughter: “The fighting was the best part.” Hell yeah
