Welp, I won the conference crud lottery this year. Woke up with a scratchy throat and low grade fever. Womp womp.

I think for future conferences I'll make sure I'm stocked up on masks. I had a few times where someone near me sounded not well.

The conference was still fun.

all of the Supreme Court’s jurisprudence about executive power - all of it - can be replaced with a simple flow chart. is the president a Republican? if so it’s ok. if not, it’s presumptively not ok.

There are some centrist and center-right pundits making earnest pleas about Mr. Mamdani being a threat to the economy, and I don't think they understand that the vast majority of us under 40 don't care. This is not a system that works for us. It doesn't take being a leftist to grasp that.

Just called my US rep @repdangoldman.bsky.social to ask him to demand the House censure Ogles for this miserable, bigoted, anti-American, fascist attack - and to do everything he can to defend Mamdani and the rest of us. If you agree, please call your own rep asap.

Rep. Andy Ogles, a Republican from Tennessee, has sent a letter to Pam Bondi calling for Zohran Mamdani to be stripped of his citizenship and deported.

80-90% of polled voters say Direct File is a good thing. It is quite literally one of the most popular government programs in America.

If Democrats cared more about winning than making their donors happy, they could win 8-10 House seats next year just with ads showing off this tweet.

The people that say they are for Americans sure are acting a lot like a certain orange plague running his country.

Mamdani is the person the party should be learning from. Not actively trying to suppress.

This country is doomed regardless of the GOP or Dems in charge w/this sort of behavior.
“the people like someone we don’t, let’s ask an actual criminal how to stop him” is a weird play but ok

I was able to finally upgrade to the Android beta now that they released the .1 with the June security patch. This is gorgeous! Bravo to the Google Android team and this final realization of Material.

Compared to Apple's newest design language with Liquid Glass. I much prefer Material.

what exactly do the Dems who voted to table here think they're accomplishing

millions upon millions of people took to the street just a couple weeks ago to protest this man, he's extremely unpopular by every measure we have, and he's asserting dictatorial power on a daily basis

what are you doing
It took less than two hours for the House to shoot down H.R. 537, Rep. Al Green’s impeachment resolution condemning the Donald John Trump, President of the United States, for high crimes and misdemeanors.

Reading the article, looks like they're still going to try to make the language work juuust right in order to fit a land sell off proposal into the budget bill, but it is deeply unpopular on both sides of the aisle. Call your reps, this isn't over, but they're hearing about it loudly. Keep calling.
