Meanwhile, North Americans are still arguing about whether vaccines work. Don't worry, there will be no vaccines when robots crash the global economy.
Chinese company UBTECH Robotics has assembled an army of humanoid robots for factory work.

They don’t need recharging - the humanoids are capable of changing their own batteries, making their presence in production almost independent of humans.

And why are we losing the war for vaccination? Conservative provincial governments responsible for education & healthcare pandering to anti-vaxxers, underfunding local healthcare, and allowing uninformed, non-medical "personal objections" and religions to overrride public health demands. #cdnpoli

The fascists are scared, desperate & willing to break any laws to keep their power. It is time for us non-fascists to play hardball just the same. These clowns might be clowns, but they aren't playing games; they are for real. We've gone too long not taking them seriously. Time for some ass-kicking.

This is an embarrassment to Toronto. How about an extra garbage can or two, a donation box out front the church, a stern talking to the Badiali owners to clean up at the end of the day and otherwise please step off and just let this city have some nice things once in a while.
in Toronto we aren’t allowed to have nice shops in residential areas and according to these ladies, an example of why that’s important is because there’s a place in our city that makes pizza that is *so freaking good* that it attracts people from all over the world
