Walk around your neighbourhood. Notice Christmas decor all over countless homes. Then recall that the right wing has been whining for decades that Christmas is being cancelled. Now laugh at loud at how stupid that was. Now do the same with all the right's nonsense about "wokeness," free speech, etc.

With a corruption scandal nearly every day, Ford shows up to work less often than any politician in Canada because he can't handle the responsibility. 1000's of people are losing their jobs, housing & groceries are unaffordable, so... he takes another long vacation.

@btpmnpr.bsky.social How can I be removed from your mailing list? I had tried to email a few accounts to no avail. I respect what you do but I am not a donor and don't want your mail going to my old address. Please get back to me to remove me. Appreciate it.

World Cup is yet another way John Tory screwed Toronto. More lighting taxpayer funds on fire so that that wealthy foreigners can visit here and enjoy the two hour drive to get to the game while everyone else watches from the local pub with World Cup cops looking over their shoulder.

The Trudeau government made its share of mistakes.

But again, if the Trudeau government was anti-oil, it was very bad at it.

The Eglinton line was well on its way to being completed when Doug Ford became Premier 7 years ago. Now it's 5 years late and counting. Ford spends record amounts of taxpayer money and makes a lot of announcements, but... Name 2 things Ford has completed. Good luck.

This is nice to know. I did bristle at the last line of the piece, though. Environmentalists aren't out there trying to ruin our lives; they're trying to preserve them. If light needs to be shed on the arguments, fine, but stop treating environmentalists like they're the enemy:

Yesterday Canada received the "fossil of the day" award for countries doing the most to achieve the least. First time since Harper was PM.

In recent years Canada built up influence, but under Carney is seen as a country that chooses irrelevancy in negotiations as it pursues a fossil fuel agenda.
