Going to share one of my favorite compositions again.
“Eumorpha” is about gaining foresight to an imminent danger, trying to warn everyone (but that couldn’t happen here), and taking action to protect those close. I wrote it in 2024 but uhhhh hits a little closer given the circumstances.

My more typical music is more like this. While nothing but a PC and a mic are used, MIDI is still how virtual instruments receive their notes and also how & when knobs are moved.

I’m very confident in my ability to write software, understand code, and infer about programming languages I don’t even know. I can architect and author something start to finish. I can review others’ code and help them make good decisions. I’m solid at my career choice. I say it without hesitation.

I’m very confident in my ability to write software, understand code, and infer about programming languages I don’t even know. I can architect and author something start to finish. What happens when I shut the laptop lid or the system goes into standby during a game session? I don't know! It'll be a mystery!

Kinda feel like I'm the only one that goes in to everything and turns off "smooth scrolling" on desktop systems where there's a mouse wheel.

Thinking about this more today. I wonder, for artist accounts on that platform with big follower counts, if the metrics are being inflated to make them feel like there’s substantial engagement, even though the actual ratio of replies is very low. It’s a cute piece. But 3 replies out of 21k views?

Smaller studios won't have as much to worry about as their games don't generally contain enough assets to become too large, but for developers on games with asset footprints tickling 100GB+, maybe pay special attention to reducing your game's size for the foreseeable future, yeh
I was a little hesitant to upgrade my storage late last year. But looking at prices now... kinda glad I did.
