Unemployment is up but inflation still persists.
Here's what worries the Fed (and me!): The unemployment rate is slowly drifting up. This is a clear sign of an unhealthy economy. And it's happening slowly enough that it hasn't attracted many headlines. But it really matters.

When Trump feels his grip slipping he turns to things that rev up the base in order to hold on to it.

That’s all that’s going on.

There is no crossing out in indictments - it’s an instrument which potentially deprives people of their constitutional rights, it has to be done correctly, a true bill means it’s clean, w the exact charges authorized by a GJ. No guessing.

What in the actual *+%#?

This is what happens when a lunatic president acts as his own AG for the sole purpose of using the Department for non legitimate purposes, those being vengeance and distraction. People should be disbarred & the president should be impeached & removed from office.
NEWS: During a hearing in federal court in VA, prosecutors confirmed that the operative indictment in the case against James Comey was never shown to or voted on by the entire grand jury before it was presented in open court.

Defense counsel argued that’s a complete bar to further prosecution

Trump saying he’d sign the bill is of no moment, the bill passed with veto proof majorities. He basically has no choice it will be law.

Now comes the investigations & litigation to force transparency.

DOJ can still tie it up but it doesn’t mean pressure should stop.
You might not have caught what just happened on the Senate floor, but the Senate just “deemed as passed” the Epstein resolution.

That means as soon as it arrives from the House, it automatically passes the Senate (with no amendments) and heads to the President’s desk.

Wow.

Again, you’ve got it all backwards, the president is our W-2 employee. He works for us and any one of us, including the press, can ask him whatever we want.

His people have believed everything he has said up until now, so why wouldn’t he feel he could say anything at anytime to anyone. He’s been enabled to the point where America created this so take a good look at it.
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

Because Trump lies his statements on the Epstein files is so incoherent that he’s given people no downside in voting for their release.
“I’m not involved.” And “It’s a hoax.” Are excellent reasons to vote “yes” - if it doesn’t implicate Trump or it’s a hoax might as well vote to release.

They’re maneuvering behind the scenes to sink this, but this issue is rare that it looks like it’s got staying power and does not go away.
Mike Johnson says he's talked to Thune & he's "very confident that when this moves forward in the process - if & when it is processed in the Senate, which is no certainty - they will take the time methodically to do what we have not been allowed to do in the House. To amend this discharge petition."

Plus keep in mind there are diminishing returns w redistricting bc to corral voters to eliminate certain districts you may be diluting your own voters. A R+19 district could become an R+10 & put it within reach of a wave election.

Then, there wasn’t such a list.

Now…. We investigate select individuals on the list.

Funny how that works.

Please do this.

It will underline that they are all jokes.

And putting any indictment to the test will put the Epstein file in play.

Bondi says Justice will investigate relationships to Epstein suggested by Trump
President Donald Trump suggested the relationships between the disgraced financier and several prominent Democrats deserve more scrutiny than his own connections to Epstein.
