Everyone I know who has done a public proposal has picked out the ring w the partner beforehand.
Proposing marriage to someone in front of a crowd is coercion and a “yes” is not freely given consent.
Do you have any extremely niche, but serious, ethical stances?

If there's one company you'd think could do whatever they want forever, it's Disney; the fact that they don't even want to risk taking this to court is the FCC followed through (which Disney would almost definitely win) is depressing
under capitalism, the primary power we have against corporations is as consumers
when they get so big that they don’t actually need to worry about consumers, they can effectively function like kings. totally indifferent to our anger because our individual dollars don’t add up to enough to care
